Meet Our Director
Joanne Rosenthal
(The director doesn't like getting her picture taken but I swear she looks exactly like this!)

Our program director, Joanne, has 20+ years of dedicated experience and a passion for child development. As the owner of the former Philadelphia daycare, Storybook Children's Center, as well as being the Director of several local daycare centers, Joanne has a proven track record of excellence in childcare. She also has 4 kids of her own (who grew up in their home daycare and the other centers) and has been a nanny for the past 5 years. Now, she wants Bookends Learning Center to be a safe and inspiring "second home" for your children (along with her own because they'll be there from time to time).

Megan Rosenthal
Assistant Supervisor. Youngest daughter and second-in-command. ​

Megan is 25 years old and graduated from Jefferson University with a Bachelors degree in Communications and Media Studies. She has a passion for dance, theatre/performing arts, photography and video editing. Her hobbies include jewelry making, crafting and Korean studies. She has been surrounded by children and daycares from an early age and has years of babysitting experience and taking care of family and other children. Certified in CPR/First Aid, all clearances, and extensive training in child development and health & safety.
